Attempt theft of or from a motor vehicle

Dear Resident

At approx 03:30 this morning (12/4) a Langho resident contacted the police to report his CCTV had picked up a male on his drive trying car doors. Officers were deployed but this male could not be located. Enquiries are ongoing to try and identify this individual.

Please let this message serve as a reminder to check your vehicle and home security. Is your vehicle locked and secure with valuables removed? If you have a doorbell camera is it fully charged with as unobstructed view as possible? If you have fixed CCTV is the time and date recorded correctly and are the cameras clean of spiders webs and other debris / obstruction? A few minutes to check can hopefully help prevent or detect crime. If you have any information on the incident above please contact me by reply.
